Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Always Free

Cleavr Docs state

We have a limited integration with Oracle Cloud. At the moment, our integration allows for provisioning their free VPS server offering.

Always Free resources on OCI are listed here - Cloud Free Tier | Oracle India and state:

Arm-based Ampere A1 cores and 24 GB of memory usable as 1 VM or up to 4 VMs with 3,000 OCPU hours and 18,000 GB hours per month

However, these instances cannot be provisioned from Cleavr UI. Any inputs on when these would be updated on Cleavr?

Good question! I don’t believe we noticed the arm option when we first integrated with Oracle Cloud. I’ll add to our backlog.

Thank you for taking this up! It is a considerably good cloud service wrt free tier option. Look forward to using it for hobby projects!

I tried to use the ARM server in the beginning. (what a p___ in the a___)
My current state is that I block these annoying emails from Oracle :frowning:
