[Feature request] Can I get a support to use pnpm instead of npm and yarn?

Can I get a support to use pnpm instead of npm and yarn? This is what I use in most of my projects

Hello Faizan,
Welcome to Cleavr forum and thanks for reaching out.

We have thought about adding support for PNPM but haven’t really got much request to have it supported. But there is first for everything, right?

I’ve heard great things about pnpm so we are going to seriously think about supporting it as an alternative to npm and yarn but that might take some time. In the meantime, you might be able to make it work by aliasing it manually. Here are some pointers:

Please let us know if you made it to work for now.

Too advanced for me to understand. I’ll leave it now

Any news how to use pnpm instead npm? Will pnpm be supportet in the near future?

Lack on pnpm support is unfortunately a deal breaker in '25 (almost '26)

Hi everyone,

We have a Christmas gift from Team Cleavr for all our valued users.

PNPM is now supported in Cleavr.

To use PNPM with your projects, please ensure that:

  • Your project is configured to use PNPM and includes a committed pnpm-lock.yaml file.
  • Other lock files such as package-lock.json , yarn.lock , or bun.lockb are removed from the project root to avoid conflicts.

Once the above points are confirmed, you can update the build command in Cleavr to use PNPM.

That is all. PNPM will be used for your next deployment, Cleavr will configure PNPM automatically on existing and new servers.
